Richard spent 3 semesters at Center for Creative Studies after high school for advertising at which point changed direction and got into mechanical design as a career. He came back to CCS after 25 years for evening painting classes along with classes at Schoolcraft Community College and the Ann Arbor Art Association. He currently enjoys painting in various mediums and techniques.
