Almost 20 years ago I felt God calling me to do a painting to honor his work in my daughter’s life. I had never painted before let alone people but I did it in faith and that painting was accepted into a juried art show! (The Celebration of Art at GR’s First Methodist) Since then I would paint now and then and had a few more pieces accepted into that art show but it wasn’t until a year ago I realized I had to either start promoting my art, spending time improving my art, or just quit. You can only give away so many paintings and there’s only so much wall space in our house! So I’ve been working as I can to both improve and promote my work and have much to do and much to learn!
